Tim Mayta is a stand-up comedian who came to comedy the way most people come to enlightenment — after life drop-kicked him into it.
"Retired" early and diagnosed with Parkinson’s at 40, Tim took all the jokes he’d been writing since his teens and finally put them where they belonged: in front of a microphone and a bunch of strangers!

A proud dad of an amazing 18-year-old daughter and former foster parent to 17 kids (not one of each age, although his OCD assures him that would’ve been chef’s kiss), Tim brings a warm, grounded presence to the stage. His comedy blends shamelessly bad dad jokes, brutally honest Parkinson’s humor, and the kind of dark jokes only someone who’s lived a few lifetimes by 40 can get away with.

Whether he’s riffing on family chaos, medical plot twists, or the strange freedom that comes from not giving a damn anymore, Tim delivers a sharp, resilient voice audiences connect with instantly. He’s proof that you can shake things up and still keep them laughing.

A Feature Comic For All Occasions!

Expect smart jokes that don't announce themselves as smart. The material runs on wordplay, puns, misdirection, and dad jokes that are somehow worse and better than they have any right to be — with punchlines that land a half-second after you think they already did.
